Yogender Chaudhry (IRS)
Yogender Chaudhry (IRS), a prominent name in youth development, was an Indian Revenue Service Officer of the 1989 batch presently working as an Additional Commissioner of Income Tax in Delhi. He also worked in Delhi Police in Narcotic Control Bureau as Assistant Director handling coordination of various national & international agencies on drug enforcement matters. His chief achievement was youth development in rural and urban areas by promoting education and empowerment, while working as an Executive Director in NYKS (Nehru Yuva Kendra) from Jan. 2004 to 2007. He was regarded as an outstanding officer, with strong leadership & management qualities. He has a philanthropic spirit and dedication to public service inspired thousands of youth leaders. He believes in making a team and then utilizing their potential to develop the various aspects of life and make this world a better place to live.

Nitish Kumar is an Indian Forest Service officer. Presently he is working on the conservation of forests and the environment. He has more than 5 years of experience in reservoir engineering with experiences in multiple disciplines like Geology, Production, Petrophysics and Stimulation.

UPSC’s journey can be long, it is known to every candidate who comes into this field, but it is not possible to predict how long it will be. Some take two or three years to get success in this, and some candidates are engaged for 6 to 7 years and still not selected. In such a situation, it is very difficult to maintain patience. However, some candidates are also like Vishal Naravada who are so sure of their perseverance that despite failing several times, they do not give up and keep up with the race. Vishal failed five UPSC CSE exams but stood up every time and geared up for the next exam. He was eventually selected in the 6th attempt and became the topper with All India Rank 91.

Shakil Ahmad Ganie is an Indian Revenue Services officer. Shakil says that patience and dedication were the keys in his preparation days. He did his schooling in his native village, Ganderbal. After completing his MBA, he worked at Jammu and Kashmir Grameen Bank. Unsatisfied with the job, he started preparing for civil services.
